My name’s Tabitha Perez, the founding photographer & videographer behind Little Jackalope. I was born on the other side of the continent, and eventually I made my way out west. So far west, in fact, that I found myself on the other side of the globe, then settled back down here in Montana.

Fueled by a long-standing love for wild little creatures with expansive personalities (and a healthy respect for some good old-fashioned fun), I chose the name Little Jackalope in acknowledgment of a widespread truth — if we can see it, we can believe in it.

The jackalope perfectly exemplifies how even just a silly idea can turn into the most legendary lore. Images and stories create space to manifest ideas into tangible being.

At the end of the day, Little Jackalope isn’t just about photos or film. It’s about chasing the in-between. The tender, and sometimes strange moments that remind us we’re here: alive, imperfect, and full of stories worth telling.

Sometimes elegant, sometimes wild. Sometimes surreal, sometimes gritty. Like its namesake, Little Jackalope shifts and adapts, but is always rooted in heart.
